JIVE: "This is exactly what got him eliminated in the first BattleBRAWL rumble .. he was trying to toss out Cameron Cruise .. and MWG came up from behind and dumped them both! You’d think he would have learned his lesson."
GHEORGHE: "When you’re in that situation, Nick, I doubt that is what you’re thinking."
JULIUS: "Shawn Hart isn’t in any type of condition to even try to dump both men over."
GHEORGHE: "Payne trying to lift the legs of Daymon over the ropes …. BUT DAYMON FIGHTS BACK! Daymon with some vicious elbows … and he breaks up the attempt! Jason Payne back into the center of the ring …. DAYMON CHARGES OUT …….. BUT PAYNE DUCKS THE CLOTHESLINE AND GRABS DAYMON …….. SAMOAN DROP!!"
JIVE: "These guys have been in there a long time …. And they’re still throwing everything they have at each other!"
GHEORGHE: "WAIT A MINUTE!!! SHAWN HART IS CLIMBING THE TURNBUCKLE PADS!"
JULIUS: "What the hell does he think he is doing?!"
GHEORGHE: "BUT PAYNE SEES HIM! JASON PAYNE RUNS OVER AND HE HAS SHAWN HART!"
JIVE: "Well, Hart, it was a nice run!"
GHEORGHE: "Hart pleading with Payne ….. BUT JASON PAYNE LAUNCHES SHAWN HART ………. RIGHT ONTO DAYMON!"
JULIUS: "DAYMON MOVED! HART HITS NOTHING BUT MAT!"
JIVE: "Jason Payne could have tossed Hart to the floor .. but he tried to cause more injury to Daymon … this could come back to haunt him!"
GHEORGHE: "Jason Payne looks like he’s gotten a second wind … and he grabs Daymon by the hair! Daymon is sent into the ropes ….. AND A BIG BOOT BY PAYNE! Daymon goes flying into the corner!"
JULIUS: "Here’s your winner right here."
GHEORGHE: "Hart’s not moving .. Daymon is in the corner … and Jason Payne has a sly smile on his face! Payne walks right past Shawn Hart .. and he’s going after Daymon!"
JIVE: "Has to do with eliminating the strongest man first … and that would be Daymon."
GHEORGHE: "Daymon is groggy .. he’s bloody … and now he has Jason Payne coming at him.. Payne with a double axehandl…. NO! Daymon ducks underneath and Payne goes into the corner! Payne turns …. AND DAYMON WITH A RAPID SUCCESSION OF BOOTS TO THE GUT! Now SOME JABS TO THE FACE! Jason Payne is reeling ….. AND DAYMON GRABS HIS HEAD AND SLAMS IT TO THE MAT!"
JIVE: "Okay.. maybe Payne should have gone after Hart…"
GHEORGHE: "Daymon and Payne are on the mat … Hart still hasn’t moved … AND NOW DAYMON AND PAYNE ARE FIGHTING TO SEE WHO WILL GET TO THEIR FEET FIRST!"
JULIUS: "Daymon wins."
GHEORGHE: "Daymon over to Payne .. BUT PAYNE WITH A SHOT TO THE GUT! AND NOW DAYMON WITH A KNEE TO THE FACE! Daymon grabs Jason Payne …. And he irish whips him to the ropes …… BUT PAYNE REVERSES!"
JIVE: "These two have been going back and forth!"
GHEORGHE: "Daymon on the return ………… AND JASON PAYNE WITH A BACK BODY DROP SENDS DAYMON TO THE OUTSIDE!"
JULIUS: "WAIT! DAYMON FLIPPED HIMSELF ONTO THE APRON!"
GHEORGHE: "Payne doesn’t know! JASON PAYNE TURNS ………. AND DAYMON WITH A FINGER TO THE EYES…… DAYMON HOOKS PAYNE ……….. AND HE SUPLEXES JASON PAYNE TO THE ARENA FLOOR!!!"
JACOBS: "JASON PAYNE HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!"
JIVE: "We are down to two!!!"
GHEORGHE: "BY GOD! Jason Payne thought he had eliminated Daymon …. But Daymon with incredible athleticism landed on the apron … and then eliminated the Dog of War!!!"
JULIUS: "Daymon or Shawn Hart? One of these two men will be the #1 contender to the World championship!"
GHEORGHE: "SHAWN HART HAS BEEN IN THE RING FOR AN HOUR AND 28 MINUTES NOW!"
JIVE: "And .. if my calculations are correct.. that means that Daymon himself has just passed the one hour mark."
GHEORGHE: "An hour and four minutes for Daymon.. Jason Payne was in there for an hour exactly. What a run for the Dog of War… two rumbles straight making it so close."
JIVE: "Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, Gheorghe."
JULIUS: "I can’t hear a word either of you are saying .. the fans here in Madison Square Garden are as loud as I’ve ever heard them before!"
GHEORGHE: "Who would have ever thought … that after losing to Cameron Cruise … after having the #1 draw handed to him as a PENALTY …. That ‘the Phenom’ Shawn Hart would be one of the final two men in the ring?"
JULIUS: "But he’s got Daymon to deal with, Gheorghe… yes, it’s fantastic that he’s made it this far … but Daymon has just demolished since coming into the rumble .."
JIVE: "Let’s not forget that just a few RAUCOUSes ago, Daymon defeated Hart in the best of three falls … by taking two falls straight."
GHEORGHE: "Shawn Hart is lying in the middle of the ring … and Daymon is circling him.."
(SFX: CROWD POPPING HUGE.)
GHEORGHE: "AND THE FANS HERE IN NEW YORK CITY ARE READY TO SEE A WINNER!"
JIVE: "Daymon’s heading down to pick Hart to his feet.."
GHEORGHE: "HART WITH A SMALL PACKAGE!"
JULIUS: "There are no pinfalls in this match!"
GHEORGHE: "Shawn Hart running on PURE INSTINCT …. PURE MACHISMO…"
JIVE: "But he’s not strong enough to pull this through. There’s no way."
GHEORGHE: "Daymon kicks out … and HE IMMEDIATELY DROPS TO THE MAT TO POUND AWAY ON SHAWN HART …… AND NOW HART IS BUSTED OPEN!"
JIVE: "These two men are both busted open .. although Daymon looks to have about stopped bleeding by now."
JULIUS: "Jesus Christ .. between Daymon and Hart … and then the P©X match .. why didn’t they just call this BloodBRAWL 2…"
GHEORGHE: "Daymon is on his feet now .. and he drags Hart up by his hair … Daymon with another jab to the face …. He hooks the waist … TILT A WHIRL SIDE SLAM! AND I THINK DAYMON IS GOING FOR THE VICTORY!"
JIVE: "Hart has put up a good fight … but there’s nothing left … there can’t be anything left."
GHEORGHE: "Daymon is back on his feet … and he’s raising his arms in victory … he’s going for it!"
JULIUS: "You know right now both The Phantom Republican and Jonathan Marx are watching this … and they’re already trying to strategize how to defeat EITHER one of these men … but these men are had the shit kicked out of them … and they’re STILL fighting."
JIVE: "Not Hart. Not anymore."
GHEORGHE: "Daymon grabs Hart …. AND HE’s DRAGGING HIM OVER TO THE ROPES!"
JIVE: "All he has to do is stand Hart up and push him over!"
GHEORGHE: "Daymon … DAYMON IS BRINGING HART TO HIS FEET!"
JULIUS: "WAIT! HART HAS A HOLD OF THE BOTTOM ROPE!"
GHEORGHE: "Shawn Hart has wrapped his arms around the bottom rope … AND HE’s HOLDING ON FOR DEAR LIFE!"
JIVE: "It looks like there’s some life in the old boy, yet!"
GHEORGHE: "Daymon trying to yank Hart off the ropes by his feet … but Hart won’t budge… AND NOW DAYMON VICIOUSLY KICKING AT THE HEAD OF THE PHENOM! Daymon with boot after boot… AND NOW HE DRAGS HART FROM THE BOTTOM ROPES!"
JULIUS: "He’s got him on his feet!"
GHEORGHE: "Daymon hooks the waist … AND HE’s GOT HIM UP IN THE AIR!"
JIVE: "He’s got him up as if he was going to hit an atomic drop … but he’s carrying him over to the ropes!"
GHEORGHE: "DAYMON IS AT THE ROPES ……. BUT SHAWN HART FLIPS BACKWARDS!!! HART LANDS ON HIS FEET!"
JULIUS: "What the hell is it going to take to eliminate him?"
GHEORGHE: "HART RUNS FORWARD AND GRABS DAYMON … DAYMON INTO THE ROPES ….."
JIVE: "Hart comes back as if he was going for the roll up …. BUT DAYMON HELD ON TO THE ROPES AND PUSHES HART DOWN!"
GHEORGHE: "BUT HART ROLLS BACK AND IS ON HIS FEET…. Daymon turns ……….. AND SHAWN HART WITH A CLOTHESLINE!!!"
JULIUS: "Holy Shit …. BOTH MEN GO OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE ARENA FLOOR!!!"
(SFX: Bell rings! CROWD POPS HUGE .. and then comes to a complete silence!)
GHEORGHE: "WHO WON?!"
JIVE: "BOTH MEN! Both men fell to the arena floor!"
JULIUS: "This is NUTS!"
GHEORGHE: "Daymon and Hart …. They’re BOTH lying on the arena floor! But whose feet touched first!?"
(SFX: Crowd pops as 3 more officials come running down the rampway.)
JULIUS: "Maybe one of those numbskulls knows."
GHEORGHE: "Three officials are down here to talk to the two that were on the outside … and … I don’t think they even know!"
(CUTTO: Big screen. The crowd practically comes to a frenzy as the shot slow mo’s on the two men hitting the arena floor. The camera angle doesn’t help as it is inconclusive.)
GHEORGHE: "And THAT didn’t help!"
JULIUS: "What happens … what happens if we can’t figure this out?"
GHEORGHE: "I don’t know!"
(CUTTO: Big screen. Another shot. This time … it looks as if Hart’s feet touch the floor first. The crowd POPS HUGE!)
JIVE: "WAIT! HART’s FEET TOUCHED THE FLOOR FIRST!!!"
(CUTTO: Big screen. A third shot. This time … it looks as if DAYMON’s feet touch the floor first… the crowd POPS HUGE AGAIN!)
JIVE: "OR WAS IT DAYMON?!"
GHEORGHE: "I .. I can’t tell! First it looked like Shawn Hart’s feet touched the floor first … then in the second shot .. it looked like Daymon’s feet touched the floor first!"
JULIUS: "Both men are now in the ring talking to the officials .. and they’re both saying that the other one’s feet touched first."
JIVE: "Well, duh!"
GHEORGHE: "I honestly can’t tel.. WAIT! Here comes New ERA President Marcus LaRoque!"
(CUTTO: Rampway .. LaRoque walks to the ring as the fans come to another silence.)
JULIUS: "Hart’s momentum with the clothesline took them both over .. and now we don’t know who is the winner … IF WE EVEN HAVE ONE!"
GHEORGHE: "President LaRoque talking to the referee … and now he’s talking to Carl Jacobs who is standing in the ring … both Shawn Hart and Daymon look like they’ve been through hell as they stand in opposite corners…"
JIVE: "Shawn Hart was in this rumble for one hour and 38 minutes…. Daymon was in the rumble for one hour and 14 minutes… and no one knows who walks out of here with the championship shot and the BattleBRAWL Cup!"
GHEORGHE: "WAIT! Carl Jacobs is in the middle of the ring!"
(CUTTO: Jacobs.)
JACOBS: "Ladies and gentlemen …. I have been informed by New ERA of Wrestling’s President, Marcus LaRoque … that after a close examination of all available video in the moments after the dual elimination took place …. THAT THERE IS A WINNER!"
(SFX: CROWD ORGASMS!)
GHEORGHE: "There’s a winner!!"
JACOBS: "The winner of the BattleBRAWL Rumble … the man who will take home both the BattleBRAWL Cup .. and the right to face the World Champion at a show of his choosing ….."
JIVE: "Shut up and just tell us already!"
(CUEUP: ……. "Nobody Does It Better" by Carly Simon. THE CROWD GOES INSANE.)
JACOBS: "‘THE PHENOM’ SHAWN HART!!"
GHEORGHE: "SHAWN HART DID IT!! HE ENTERED NUMBER ONE AND OUTLASTED 19 OTHER MEN!"
(CUTTO: Shawn Hart … who has dropped to his knees, his head in his hands. CUTTO: Daymon. He slams his hand against the top turnbuckle pad and exits the ring, obviously frustrated.)
GHEORGHE: "SHAWN HART LASTED ONE HOUR AND 38 MINUTES …. AND HE’LL GET HIS CHANCE AT THE NEW ERA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!"
JULIUS: "I can’t believe it! Shawn Hart has balls! He’s got balls…"
GHEORGHE: "I don’t know HOW he did it … but I can tell you one thing … the winner of our next match .. tonight’s main event … they’re going to have a FIGHT on their hands when Shawn Hart decides to challenge them for that championship."
(CUTTO: Slow motion shot of both Daymon and Hart falling over the top rope. The shot pauses right when their feet hit the floor. The shot shows Daymon’s feet touching the floor as well as Hart’s left foot touching the floor. Hart’s right foot, by the grace of God, lands on top of Daymon’s left foot, and does not touch the ground.)
GHEORGHE: "And there’s the shot that most likely made up the mind of Marcus LaRoque!"
JIVE: "Wow.. how close is that!?"
GHEORGHE: "Amazing…."
