(CUTTO: Backstage with Jason Tripp.  Standing next to him is Former World Champion Larry Tact.  Tact has a stern look on his face.)

TRIPP: "I am backstage here with former New ERA World Champion Larry Tact.. first of all Larry, welcome back to New ERA!"

TACT: "Well, I’ve been here for awhile, Jason."

TRIPP: "Ha ha, that’s true, but welcome back AS Larry Tact!  We’ve definitely missed you and your incredible talent here in New ERA."

TACT: "Thanks."

TRIPP: "You are just seconds away from walking out there into the Nassau Coliseum and facing Cameron Cruise in a leather stra…"

TACT: "I don’t care about Cruise.  He is just an example to be made of."

TRIPP: "Excuse me?"

TACT: "Cameron Cruise is just an example .. an example to Turk that Larry Tact is determined."

TRIPP: "Turk did defeat you at the two year anniversary show.."

TACT: "I plan on getting even with Turk.  He doesn’t belong in New ERA .. as personal hitman of Juliet Marceau or not.  Next week on RAUCOUS I’m going to prove that .. and I am going to send him packing right back to LoC where he belongs!"

TRIPP: "You’re challenging Turk to a rematch?"

TACT: "Damn right I am.  This time .. he’s going to be HUMBLED the hard way!"

(Tact walks off screen.)

TRIPP: "Larry Tact is DEFINITELY determined to get some revenge on the LoC superstar … but first he has to get past ‘the Crippler’ Cameron Cruise .. let’s send this back to ringside!"

(CUTTO: Ringside.)

GHEORGHE: "And we are just moments away from the Leather Strap match between Cameron Cruise and the very first New ERA World Champion, Larry Tact."

JIVE: "This is going to be Tact’s first match wrestling as himself since he left New ERA way back when."

GHEORGHE: "Tact had been wrestling as the Masked Man … the man whose goal it was to eliminate Jean Rabesque from New ERA … but after the Phantom Republican essentially did so by winning the title, Tact decided it was time to come clean…"

JIVE: "Yea, and he chose a great time to do so … after losing to LoC superstar Turk!"

GHEORGHE: "Tact is looking to make a splash again as he takes on Cameron Cruise .. and DREDD decided that these two would go one on one in the leather strap match."

JIVE: "One of these two men needs to drag the other to all four corners and slam their head into the turnbuckle in order to win."

GHEORGHE: "It should be an entertaining match, Nick … let’s head down to Carl Jacobs for the ring introductions!"

(CUTTO: Carl Jacobs standing in the ring.  The lineup for the match comes on screen.)

JACOBS: "The following match is a specialty LEATHER STRAP MATCH!"

(CUEUP: ‘Headstrong’ by Trapt.)

JACOBS: "Introducing first … being led to the ring by Mercedes Devon … he hails from Jacksonville, North Carolina ….. ‘the Crippler’ CAMERON CRUISE!"

(Cruise makes his way through the curtain.)

GHEORGHE: "Cameron Cruise could really put a feather in his cap here tonight if he can defeat Larry Tact."

JIVE: "Larry Tact needs to win tonight … there’s no doubt about it."

(CUEUP: ‘Karma’ by Diffuser.  Larry Tact steps through the curtain to a humongous pop.)

JACOBS: "His opponent.. hailing from Manhattan, New York … he is a former New ERA World Champion …. LARRY TACT!"

(SFX: Bell rings.)

JIVE: "Both men are hooked together by that leather strap .. and the referee gives them the go ahead!"

GHEORGHE: "Both men grab onto the strap and give a little tug … now Tact walking closer to Cruise .. and they lock up in a collar and elbow.."

JIVE: "I’m surprised that these two are going to actually start off wrestling!"

GHEORGHE: "Cruise and Tact are both excellent wrestlers, Nick."

JIVE: "Sure they are…"

GHEORGHE: "Cameron Cruise gets the upperhand earler and backs Tact into the corner … Cruise with an irish whip …."

JIVE: "Not such a smart idea.."

GHEORGHE: "Cruise grabs onto the strap … AND YANKS BACK SNAPPING TACT TO THE MAT!"

JIVE: "Alright, I guess that worked out as he planned."

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact getting to his feet … and Cameron Cruise takes him down with a standing dropkick!  Tact back up … Cruise grabs him by the head … AND HE HITS THE FIRST TURNBUCKLE COVER!  Tact’s forehead being scraped across the top rope as Cruise walks him to the second turnbuckle … BUT TACT BLOCKS!"

JIVE: "Cruise was smart trying to end this early, but the only way you can effectively win this match is by knocking your opponent out and dragging his carcass to each corner."

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact now grabs the head of Cruise … and he slams it into the turnbuckle!  Cruise tries to get out from the corner … but Tact yanks him back in with the leather strap … AND NOW HE IS WHIPPING HIM ACROSS THE BACK!"

JIVE: "Yowza!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact the first one to use the strap as a direct weapon … and he grabs Cruise by the hair and leads him into the center of the ring …. And goes back to technical wrestling with a delayed suplex."

JIVE: "Mercedes Devon is on the outside and she looks sick to her stomach from those strap shots that Cruise took."

GHEORGHE: "Devon herself winning on RAPTURE a couple days ago .. congratulations to her … and now she is here in Uniondale cheering on her husband."

JIVE: "Cruise is making an offensive.."

GHEORGHE: "Tact brought Cruise back to his feet .. but Cameron Cruise has quickly managed to break free from the grasp of the former Champion and now he’s doubled Tact over …. AND DRILLS HIM IN THE BACK WITH THE LEATHER STRAP!  Larry Tact arches back and tries to walk it off ….. AND CRUISE WRAPS THE STRAP AROUND HIS NECK!"

JIVE: "There you go…"

GHEORGHE: "Cameron Cruise places his foot in the small of the back and starts pulling back on the strap from both sides essentially choking Larry Tact with it!"

JIVE: "You gotta do what you gotta do, Gheorghe.. if Cruise doesn’t do it, then Tact will end up doing it.  Survival of the fittest!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact struggling to get his hand in between the strap and his throat … but Cruise lets go before he can … AND CRUISE WITH A CLOTHESLINE TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!  Cameron Cruise … is he trying to hog tie Larry Tact?"

JIVE: "He is! He’s trying to tie Tact’s arms and legs with the excess strap… but I don’t think there’s enough, Gheorghe."

GHEORGHE: "Neither do I, Nick … Cruise, I think, coming to the same conclusion… LARRY TACT BREAKS FREE AND SMALL PACKAGES CRUISE …."

JIVE: "There’s no pinfalls in this match, though…"

GHEORGHE: "Tact releasing the hold … and Cameron Cruise quickly back to his feet and he is stomping a mudhole in the former Champion!"

JIVE: "In a regular match that would have been a great move … catch your opponent off guard and quite possibly get the sneak victory.. but all Tact managed to do is piss off Cameron Cruise… and that is not going to help him."

GHEORGHE: "Cruise now dropping the knee down on the throat … and he’s keeping it there!  Cameron Cruise choking Larry Tact … and Tact finally manages to push him off."

JIVE: "Cameron Cruise trying to end it again .. but I still think it’s a little too early."

GHEORGHE: "Cruise has Tact up on his feet … and brings him over to the corner … BUT TACT WITH AN ELBOW!  Tact with ANOTHER!  Larry Tact hits a third elbow and has Cruise reeling ….. Tact with a clothesline BUT CRUISE DUCKS!  Tact turns …. AND CRUISE HITS THE REVERSE CRESCENT KICK!"

JIVE: "Tact tried to get the rally going, but ended up eating more mat!"

GHEORGHE: "Cruise picks him up … and slams his head into the first turnbuckle pad! Cruise now walking Tact over to the second ….. AND HE SLAMS IT INTO THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE PAD!"

JIVE: "He’s halfway there, Gheorghe."

GHEORGHE: "BUT LARRY TACT PUTTING ON THE BRAKES!  Larry Tact has grabbed onto the top rope and has halted all forward motion …. Cruise tries to free the hand …. AND TACT HEADBUTTS HIM!  Cruise holding on to his head … AND LARRY TACT JUMPS UP …. JAWBREAKER!"

JIVE: "Oh come on! Someone shut these imbeciles up!"

GHEORGHE: "The crowd has come alive as Larry Tact gets back on his feet …. He picks up Cameron Cruise … BACKBREAKER!  Larry Tact keeps Cameron Cruise over his knee … AND DRIVES AN ELBOW INTO THE THROAT!  Cameron Cruise falls to the mat and Larry Tact is back on his feet and playing it up for the crowd!"

JIVE: "Go ahead, Tact .. keep your attention on them … they’ll be your downfall!"

GHEORGHE: "Tact grabs Cameron Cruise … AND HE BASHES HIS HEAD INTO ONE TURNBUCKLE …….. AND A SECOND!  Larry Tact heading to the third turnbuckle …. BUT CRUISE FALLS TO THE MAT!  Tact stops … LOW BLOW BY CAMERON CRUISE!"

JIVE: "Wait …. Tact blocked it?!  HE HAS BALLS O’ STEEL!"

GHEORGHE: "Tact managed to avoid being hit in the family jewels … AND HE WALLOPS CRUISE IN THE HEAD THE LEATHER STRAP!  AND AGAIN!"

JIVE: "Cameron Cruise might have been busted open with those two shots to the face …"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact brings Cruise to his feet …. TBONE SUPLEX!  Tact again up with Cruise …."

JIVE: "He’s locking him up in a pumphandle.."

GHEORGHE: "Cruise being set up for a ride ….. AND TACT WITH A PUMPHANDLE RIGHT INTO A POWER SLAM!  WHAT POWER!"

JIVE: "Mercedes Devon is on the outside looking very distraught after seeing Cruise go for the ride.."

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact now with the legs of Cameron Cruise … and he’s going for the Boston Crab!  Tact trying to force Cameron Cruise over … and if he can get Cruise over and lock on that Boston Crab for awhile then Cruise will be weakened enough for Tact to hit all four corners!"

JIVE: "I don’t think so, Gheorghe … Cameron Cruise is a tough competitor … he’ll find some way to save himself!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact has him halfway over …. AND HE LOCKS IT ON! LARRY TACT HAS THE BOSTON CRAB LOCKED ON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!"

JIVE: "This match is still far from over."

GHEORGHE: "Tact leaning back … and Cameron Cruise is in no-man’s land!  There’s no way he can get out of it unless Tact lets him go!"

JIVE: "If Larry Tact knows what’s good for him he’ll keep it on until he breaks the back of Cameron Cruise! Only then will he have a sure shot at winning."

GHEORGHE: "Tact with a look of determination … and now he’s yelling at Cameron Cruise!"

JIVE: "No he isn’t … He’s yelling at TURK!"

GHEORGHE: "He is!  Larry Tact is yelling ‘THIS WILL BE YOU, TURK! THIS WILL BE YOU!’ …"

JIVE: "He’s obviously still sore about losing to the LoC superstar!"

GHEORGHE: "Cameron Cruise is trying to pull himself closer to the ropes, Nick .. but even if he makes it to the ropes, the referee doesn’t have to break the hold."

JIVE: "This is a no pinfall, no submission, no disqualification match.. although he’ll be able to get some leverage if he does get to the ropes."

GHEORGHE: "Cameron still reaching …. But Larry Tact releases the hold and goes right back to stomping on ‘the Crippler’.  Tact now brings Cameron Cruise to his feet … BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!  Tact is calling for the end of the match …"

JIVE: "But not before he whips Cruise with that leather strap a few more times!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact with some vicious whips to the back of Cameron Cruise .. and now he brings him to his feet … Larry Tact … NAILS CRUISE’s HEAD ONTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE PAD!  He brings him over to the second turnbuckle … AND HE HITS HIS HEAD ON THAT ONE, TOO!  Larry Tact coming over to the third turnbuckle …"

JIVE: "There’s no way he can do it, Gheorghe!"

GHEORGHE: "AND TACT NAILS CRUISE’s HEAD INTO THE THIRD TURNBUCKLE PAD! He is just one pad away from ending thi… NO! CAMERON CRUISE WITH A DESPERATION MOVE AND HE ELBOWS TACT IN THE FACE!  Larry Tact stumbles back … AND CRUISE WITH ANOTHER ELBOW!"

JIVE: "There we go!"

GHEORGHE: "Cruise with a kick to the gut … IMPACT DDT!  Both men are laid out on the mat!"

JIVE: "Just like that Larry Tact has seen all his momentum go down the drain!  But Cruise has taken too much punishment to capitalize!"

GHEORGHE: "Both men beginning to stir … Tact using the ropes to get to his feet as Cruise is on his knees .. Tact on his feet and he is coming over to Cruise."

JIVE: "Cameron Cruise has wrapped the leather strap around his fist …"

GHEORGHE: "Tact coming in for the axe handle, BUT CRUISE POPS HIM RIGHT IN THE FACE WITH THAT FIST!  Larry Tact stumbles back … AND CAMERON CRUISE YANKS ON THE LEATHER STRAP AND TRIPS HIM!"

JIVE: "Tact hit the mat hard.. he might have knocked himself silly."

GHEORGHE: "Cameron Cruise is back on his feet and he is picking up the former World champion … STOMACHBREAKER!  Cruise just dropped Tact stomach first right on his knee!  Now Cameron Cruise takes some of the slack from the leather strap …. AND HE WHIPS HIM IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH IT!  AND AGAIN!"

JIVE: "Cruise can taste victory, Gheorghe.. all he’s gotta do is incapacitate Tact long enough to wrap it up."

GHEORGHE: "Cruise with Tact to his feet … he irish whips him into the ropes … Tact comes back and ducks underneath the clothesline … Tact against the other ropes as Cruise turns … AND CAMERON CRUISE CATCHES HIM ……….. REALITY CHECK!  CAMERON CRUISE HITS THE REALITY CHECK!"

JIVE: "Listen to the crowd! They are buzzing, Tom!  Could they be seeing the SECOND loss in a row by Larry Tact?!"

GHEORGHE: "Cameron Cruise slow to his feet … and he raises his arms in the air!  He hasn’t won yet, Nick!"

JIVE: "But he’s almost there! Let him soak in the pre-victory!"

GHEORGHE: "Cameron Cruise brings Tact up to his feet and brings him over to the first corner … AND HE NAILS THE PAD WITH TACT’s HEAD!  Cruise quickly over to the second corner… AND HE NAILS THAT CORNER!"

JIVE: "Cameron Cruise with a feather in his cap! A victory of Tact will immediately propel him into the top contender!"

GHEORGHE: "Cameron Cruise now walking with Tact to the third turnbuckle pad … AND HE NAILS HIM!  Cameron Cruise is one turnbuckle pad away from a fantastic victory and Mercedes Devon is cheering him on!"

JIVE: "The Cruise family will have had a great week, Gheorghe.. Mercedes gets her first win .. and now Cameron defeats the former World Champion!"

GHEORGHE: "Cameron Cruise on his way to the fourth corner …. BUT TACT HAS GRABBED ONTO THE TOP ROPE MIDWAY THERE!  Larry Tact is hanging on for dear life!"

JIVE: "No! Come on Cameron .. do something!"

GHEORGHE: "Cameron Cruise stops and turns … CRUISE WITH A RIGHT HAND …. BUT MISSES!! LARRY TACT GRABS HIM AND HITS THE SPINEBUSTER!"

JIVE: "No dammit, NO!"

GHEORGHE: "Both men are on the mat again!"

(SFX: Crowd begins to jeer tenfold.)

JIVE: "Here comes Juliet Marceau … and she’s wearing a TURK shirt!"

GHEORGHE: "The Vice President of New ERA has come to ringside .. and she is standing next to Mercedes Devon!"

JIVE: "She’s come down to give support to Cameron Cruise!"

GHEORGHE: "I highly doubt that she came down to do anything other than distracting Larry Tact."

JIVE: "Whatever she does, it’s supporting Cameron Cruise!"

GHEORGHE: "Both men getting to their feet… they meet up in the middle of the ring … Tact with a right hook .. BUT CRUISE DUCKS AND LOCKS ON TO TACT’s BACK … GERMAN SUPLEX!"

JIVE: "NO!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact blocks it!  Tact with a back elbow causing Cruise to release the hold … Cameron turns back …."

(SFX: Crowd explodes.)

GHEORGHE: "URANAGE SUPLEX!! TACT HIT THE HUMBLING!  He grabs Cruise … and he takes him to the first corner .. CHECK!  He takes him to the second corner .. CHECK!"

JIVE: "He hasn’t seen Marceau yet!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact brings Cameron Cruise to the third corner … AND HE SLAMS HIS HEAD DOWN!  Tact turns for the fourth corner …. AND JULIET MARCEAU HOPS ON THE APRON RIGHT NEXT TO IT!"

JIVE: "Uh oh!"

GHEORGHE: "Marceau with a smile on her face as Tact slows down … but Cruise is out of it!  Larry Tact over in the corner … AND HE GRABS JULIET MARCEAU!"

JIVE: "He can’t do that! DQ HIM!"

GHEORGHE: "No disqualification, Nick!"

JIVE: "DO IT ANYWAY!"

GHEORGHE: "TACT HAS MARCEAU BY THE SHIRT ………. AND HE RIPS THE TURK SHIRT OFF THE VICE PRESIDENT…"

JIVE: "Tell these imbeciles to SHUT UP!"

GHEORGHE: "The crowd going crazy as Marceau hops off trying to cover herself … and Juliet MARCEAU RUNNING TO THE BACK ….. AS LARRY TACT SLAMS CAMERON CRUISE’s FACE INTO THE FOURTH TURNBUCKLE!! HE’s DONE IT! LARRY TACT HAS WON THIS MATCH!"

(SFX: Bell rings.)

JACOBS: "The winner of this match …… LARRY TACT!"

JIVE: "He assaulted a woman!"

GHEORGHE: "She ain’t no woman, Nick…"

JIVE: "She’s your boss!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact in the center of the ring as the referee takes off the leather strap ……. AND HE IS HOLDING THAT TURK SHIRT ….. AND HE RIPS IT INTO PIECES!!!"

JIVE: "He’s going to pay next RAUCOUS! He’s going to pay dearly!!"

GHEORGHE: "What a match!! Both men put on a spectacular display .. but the former World Champion comes out on top … despite the best efforts of Juliet Marceau!  We’ve got to take a break!"
