(FADEIN: A hallway. Lights shine down but it is empty. CUTTO: Another hallway. More lights, but still no one is there. Or is there? The masked man could be hiding anywhere, in any dark place in any of these hallways.. waiting for his next victim.. waiting to prove his point further.. CUTTO: A third hallway. This time New ERA Women’s Champion Karla Starr is cautiously walking, looking back and forth for any movement in the shadows.)
STARR: "Come out, come out wherever you are…"
(Silence. Starr shines a flashlight into some darkened areas but it reveals nothing.)
STARR: "Come on, I know you’re here somewhere.."
(She starts to walk through a doorway when a voice calls out.)
VOICE: "I knew she’d eventually send you.."
(Starr turns around quickly but is faced with an empty hallway.)
STARR: "It was only a matter of time… after all, who else can catch you?"
(She waits for a response, the flashlight in her hand. The voice that was behind her now beckons from the other side of her..)
VOICE: "Well isn’t that assuming.."
(The voice of the masked man pauses as Starr twirls around, clicks the flashlight on and shines it into an empty corner.)
VOICE: "That you can catch me?"
STARR: "I don’t make promises I can’t keep… you know that."
(Once again there is silence. Starr looks all around her waiting for the masked man to speak again. After a few moments of silence she smiles and begins to walk through the door.. as she walks through the door we see a hand come from a darkened corner that she had shined her flashlight into just moments before. Starr doesn’t notice the hand as it softly brushes her hair above her shoulder. She walks through the doorway and continues on her hunt … once she is safely out of sight the masked man speaks to himself..)
VOICE: "I guess I do … don’t I?"
(CUTTO: Ringside.)
GHEORGHE: " Karla Starr almost caught the masked man!"
JIVE: "So there IS a history between those two! The masked man even confirmed it!"
GHEORGHE: "Ladies and gentlemen, we are closing in on tonight’s main event, and the masked man has yet to reveal himself … and according to Juliet Marceau, unless he unveils himself tonight he will not be in the main event at International Intrigue!"
JIVE: "Time’s running out… and with the police, the security here at the Air Canada Centre, AND Karla Starr all gunning for him, the masked man has to be extremely cautious not to get caught or else he’ll end up forfeiting the spot anyway!"
GHEORGHE: "But as I just mentioned, tonight’s main event is all that we have left … and it is an interesting mix of competitors here in this tag team match…"
JIVE: "Well, the two teams each have a man fighting one of his competitors in a match at the PPV as MWG has that Television title match against Jason Payne, while his partner, Jonathan Marx, is in the main event chamber cage match against Payne’s partner Alister Hayze …"
GHEORGHE: "All four men are World Championship material .. so this match should be a doozy! Let’s go to Carl Jacobs and get this main event, the FINAL one before International Intrigue, started!"
(CUTTO: In the ring with Carl Jacobs. The lineup for the main event crashes on screen.)
JACOBS: "Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for ONE FALL, has a 30 minute time limit and is tonight’s MAIN EVENT!! Introducing first…"
(CUEUP: ‘Faggot’ by Mindless Self Indulgence. The crowd jeers immensely as the team of MWG and Jonathan Marx come from behind the curtain. Krist Blue and Brandon Jacobs follow behind.)
JACOBS: "They weigh in at a combined weight of 447 pounds …. The team of ‘Gentleman’ JONATHAN MARX and the former New ERA of Wrestling Television Champion…. EM DUBBYA GEE!!"
JIVE: "We’ve got the World’s Greatest Technical wrestler teamed up with the always shocking MWG …"
GHEORGHE: "You’ve got to wonder.. with these four men in two of the biggest matches at the pay per view … will their attention be solely focused on the match at hand?"
(CUEUP: ‘Dog of War’ by Pink Floyd. Alister Hayze and Jason Payne come out from behind the curtain to a sizeable pop. They walk to the ring side by side..)
JACOBS: "And their opponents…. Weighing in at a combined weight of 495 pounds…. ALISTER HAYZE and the ‘Dog of War’ JASON PAYNE!!!"
(SFX: Bell rings.)
GHEORGHE: " Alister Hayze and MWG look to be starting things off for their teams .. Hayze walking to the center of the ring … and he is telling MWG that he better not play any games tonight.."
JIVE: "And MWG looks hurt that Hayze would even assume that he’d play games!"
GHEORGHE: "If you’re not careful, MWG can make you look the fool.. Hayze and MWG hook up in the middle of the ring …. Hayze with a go behind ….. AND MWG GYRATES HIS HIPS AGAINST HAYZE … and Hayze releases!"
JIVE: "He just uses strategies…"
GHEORGHE: " MWG with a smile on his face as he turns around …. BUT ALISTER HAYZE WIPES IT OFF WITH A CLOTHESLINE THAT SENDS MWG TO THE MAT! MWG back to his feet and holding his head … Hayze pushes him against the ropes and irish whips him acr.. nooo, MWG with the reversal… AND HAYZE WITH A REVERSAL … MWG goes flying into the ropes … comes off …. Hayze ducks the head, AND MWG CATCHES HIM! MWG with Hayze’s head between his legs …. AND HE PILEDRIVES HIM TO THE MAT!"
JIVE: "Hayze should be lucky that’s ALL he did!"
GHEORGHE: " MWG drags Hayze back to his feet .. and he tags in Marx!"
JIVE: "Hayze and Marx … two of the four men who will be in the BRAWL to END It ALL Chamber Cage match at the pay per view .. and unfortunately for Marx he isn’t quite sure whether or not the Masked Man will be his partner.."
GHEORGHE: "The Masked Man only has a few more minutes to reveal himself …"
JIVE: "I don’t know who else Marceau and LaRoque would get to fill the void left by the injured Doe … everyone else is in a match at the PPV!"
GHEORGHE: " MWG bends Hayze over, and Jonathan Marx with a double axe handle knocks Hayze to his feet. Jonathan Marx now working over the back area of Hayze as he lays some kicks into the small of it. Marx grabs Hayze by the hair … and he sends him into the corner back first! Alister Hayze holds his lower back as he comes out of the corner …. Jonathan Marx comes at him … AND HAYZE WITH A KICK TO THE STOMACH! Marx is stopped dead in his tracks …. AND HAYZE WITH A SWINGING NECKBREAKER TAKES HIM DOWN!"
JIVE: "God dammit! Alister Hayze has this KNACK for coming back stronger than ever…"
GHEORGHE: "Hayze gets to his feet and he tags in Jason Payne .. now Jason Payne and Jonathan Marx are in the ring. Payne catches Marx as soon as he gets to his feet and he drives a shoulder into the midsection. Payne with another shoulder and this time he picks him up over the match and down with a fireman’s carry! Jason Payne back to his feet as Jonathan Marx gets up … AND PAYNE WITH A QUICK ARM DRAG TAKEDOWN! Marx gets back to his feet and charges at Payne again … AND ANOTHER ARM DRAG TAKEDOWN! Jonathan Marx gets up a third time and this time he backs off!"
JIVE: "After getting tossed around twice by Payne I would have done the same exact thing.."
GHEORGHE: "Marx now putting up his hands as Payne walks over to him… Payne tries to grab Marx, but Marx slips under him and hooks the waist … AND TAKES HIM OVER WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Marx rolls back to his feet as Payne slowly gets up … Marx grabs Payne by the arm and sends him to the ropes …. Payne on the return … AND A BEAUTIFULLY PLACE DROPKICK SENDS PAYNE TO THE APRON! MWG aching to get in and Marx makes the tag…"
JIVE: "I’ve heard that MWG has a fetish for uniforms .. so Payne, as a former member of the armed services, needs to watch his ass … or he might start fulfilling that fetish…"
GHEORGHE: " MWG slinks into the ring and is now waiting for Jason Payne to get to his feet … MWG grabs the legs of Payne … and he forces him back to the mat … MWG locking on the figure four … AND HE GETS IT LOCKED!! Jason Payne is toward the center of the ring stuck in a figure four …. And MWG is lying on his back trying to add more pressure…"
JIVE: "It looks like he’s getting off listening to Payne scream … what a masochist!"
GHEORGHE: "WAIT A MINUTE! MWG IS GRABBING ONTO THOSE BOTTOM ROPES FOR MORE LEVERAGE! Jason Payne sits straight up in pain ….. but the referee turns around JUST AFTER MWG releases the ropes and doesn’t see it …"
JIVE: " MWG using the ring to his advantage ….. Jason Payne has got to get out of this hold if he wants to have any chance at walking out of here with a sh.. well, shit … walking out of here, period!"
GHEORGHE: "The referee goes back to ‘the Dog of War’ … AND MWG GRABS AHOLD OF THOSE BOTTOM ROPES AGAIN AND JASON PAYNE HOWLS! Jason Payne looks to be in incredible pain from this figure four …. And the referee is late AGAIN as MWG releases the ropes before he sees!"
JIVE: "Now the ref is asking why the ropes are shaking!"
GHEORGHE: " MWG shaking his head saying he doesn’t know why … BUT THERE IS BRANDON JACOBS … HE GRABS AHOLD OF THE ROPES AND SHAKES THEM!"
JIVE: "So Jacobs is the reason why the ropes are shaking!"
GHEORGHE: "No, he isn’t!!!"
JIVE: "But .. he just shook them…"
GHEORGHE: "Have you not been watching?!"
JIVE: "I see what the ref sees, Gheorghe …. And he saw Brandon Jacobs shaking the ropes!"
GHEORGHE: "The referee goes back to checking on Jason Payne ….. AND MWG GRABS ON TO THE ROPES AGAIN!! He is yanking as har… THE REFEREE CAUGHT HIM!!! The referee turned around quickly as he was bending down to check on Jason Payne … and he caught MWG holding on to the ropes!"
JIVE: "Oh well, he already did enough damage!"
GHEORGHE: " MWG releases the figure four and grabs Jason Payne by the hair and brings him to his feet …. MWG with an irish whip … BUT PAYNE STUMBLES DOWN TO HIS KNEES!"
JIVE: "The prolonged figure four definitely took its toll…"
GHEORGHE: " MWG walks over to Payne … AND HE SLAPS HIM IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!!"
JIVE: "Uh-oh…"
GHEORGHE: "AND JASON PAYNE DID NOT LIKE THAT ONE BIT!!!"
JIVE: "I don’t think that this is part of his fantasy .. although, knowing MWG … it may very well just be!"
GHEORGHE: " Jason Payne nails MWG with a back elbow smash! Payne turns around and grabs MWG sending him into the ropes …. Payne sets up …. AND DRILLS MWG INTO THE MAT WITH A SPINEBUSTER!!! Jason Payne with the cover …. ONE …….. TW—NOOOOOOO! Jason Payne grabs MWG by the hair and brings him to his feet …. And he tags in Alister Hayze!"
JIVE: "Payne kept his cool longer than I thought… and it’s a good thing he tagged out to Hayze right away after having his knee ravaged…"
GHEORGHE: " Alister Hayze in the ring now as MWG tries to get to his corner … but Hayze cuts him off. Hayze hooks the head of MWG … and takes him over with a suplex! Hayze back to his feet and grabs the leg of MWG …. And Hayze drives the knee into the thigh of MWG! Hayze with another knee into the thigh …. He’s trying to give him a charlie horse I think!"
JIVE: "That’d be one way to slow down MWG …."
GHEORGHE: "Hayze drops the elbow on the thigh now .. Hayze really working over that leg of MWG…"
JIVE: "How much do you think Payne paid him to do that.."
GHEORGHE: "I don’t think he paid Hayze anything… right now MWG is an opponent and Alister Hayze is trying to weaken him enough to get the victory tonight… I highly doubt Hayze cares about the match between Jason Payne and MWG at the pay per view… he’s got his own career to worry about."
JIVE: "Hayze has a career? All I’ve seen him do so far is wipe the sweat from Rabesque’s nutsack…"
GHEORGHE: " Alister Hayze is an extremely accomplished wrestler who will one day wear the World title around his waist… and Hayze now brings MWG to his feet .. he walks him over to the corner and MWG is limping…. Alister Hayze with MWG in the corner …. AND HE HIPTOSSES HIM OUT INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! Alister Hayze is going UP TOP!!!"
JIVE: "We’ll see if this pays off for him or not … quite frankly I’d like to see him lose his balance, maybe take out a few of these obnoxious fans…"
GHEORGHE: "Hayze measures and flies off…. BUT MWG AVOIDS THE KNEE DROP! MWG rolls out of the way and Alister Hayze knees the ring apron! Hayze rolls over to the corner and is holding his knee as Krist Blue and Brandon Jacobs are slamming the mat with their hands trying to get MWG to make the tag!"
JIVE: "He’s only a few feet away .. I wouldn’t be surprised if Marx was able to just reach in the ring and tag himself in the match!"
GHEORGHE: " MWG looks up .. but he’s looking in the wrong corner!! Blue screaming to look the other way as Hayze gets to his feet … AND MWG DOES!! Hayze walking over to MWG …. AND MWG MAKES THE TAG!! Jonathan Marx hops over the top rope …. AND CONNECTS WITH A BOOT TO THE GUT!! Marx grabs Hayze …. AND HE NAILS A SHOULDERBREAKER! Here’s a quick cover …. ONE …….. TWO ………. THR—NOOOO!!!"
JIVE: "Marx coming in immediately with moves to the upper body, the shoulders more precisely…"
GHEORGHE: "Marx grabs Hayze and brings him to his feet …. He hooks the waist ….. AND TOSSES HIM BACKWARDS WITH A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!"
JIVE: "Hayze landed right in front of Jason Payne, though!"
GHEORGHE: "Payne reaches over the top rope and tags the body of Hayze .. and the ref counts it as a legal tag! Jason Payne climbs through the ropes and comes after Marx …. Marx with a go behind and tries to lift Payne over with a german suplex … BUT PAYNE BLOCKS IT! Payne with an elbow to the face of Marx causes him to release the hold …. Marx walks forward …. AND JASON PAYNE NAILS HIM WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK! Payne with the quick cover …. ONE ….. TWO …."
JIVE: "KICKOUT!"
GHEORGHE: "Thanks, Nick…"

GHEORGHE: "Payne brings Marx back to his feet …. He hooks the waist … AND DROPS HIM DOWN WITH A SIDEWALK SLAM! ONE …….. TWO ………… THREE! NO! Marx got the shoulder up! Jason Payne with a handful of hair as they both get up … AND NOW MARX TRIES TO FIGHT BACK!"
JIVE: " Jonathan Marx surprised Payne right there… he didn’t expect Marx to be so energetic …."
GHEORGHE: "Marx with some right hands to the gut of Payne …. BUT PAYNE WITH A HEADBUTT DROPS HIM DOWN TO ONE KNEE! Jason Payne grabs the head of Marx …. AND NAILS THE DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT! Payne with the hook over the leg …. ONE ………… TWO …………. THREE! NOOOOOOOO!!!"
JIVE: "Marx’s kickouts have gotten closer and closer to the three count … if he’s not careful he might just get pinned!"
GHEORGHE: " Jason Payne slaps the mat as he gets to his feet …. AND MWG JUST RAN INTO THE RING!!! MWG HOPS ON THE BACK OF JASON PAYNE AND FORCES HIM DOWN TO THE MAT!"

JIVE: "NO! Hayze kicked out!"
GHEORGHE: " Alister Hayze kicks out of the small package attempt and he gets back to his feet in a hurry and grabs the hair of Marx…. Hayze rips Marx off the mat and tosses him into the corner …."
JIVE: "MWG JUST SAT ON TOP OF JASON PAYNE’s CHEST ON THE OUTSIDE!!"
GHEORGHE: "Good God, MWG is waiting for Payne to gain consciousness!"
JIVE: "He must have hit his head pretty hard …. MWG had a hold of that gag ball pretty tightly as he fell over the top…"
GHEORGHE: "Hayze comes in at Jonathan Marx …. BUT MARX WITH A THUMB TO THE EYES STOPS HIM! Jonathan Marx now tosses Hayze into the ropes …. GOURDBUSTER!!!! Marx gets back to his feet …. And he waits in the corner!!!"
JIVE: "I think that he might be going for the Marxism soon …. He’s got that look in his eyes!"
GHEORGHE: "Marx hopping around …. Alister Hayze starting to get to his feet ….. AND AS SOON AS HE DOES JONATHAN MARX DRIVES HIS SHOULDER RIGHT INTO THE BACK OF THE KNEE OF ALISTER HAYZE!!!! AND JONATHAN MARX IS SIGNALLING FOR THE MARXISM!!!"
JIVE: "Told you!"
GHEORGHE: "MARX HAS THE MARXISM LOCKED ON …. And on the outside of the ring MWG is cheering from atop Jason Payne’s chest!!"
JIVE: "Lucky for Payne he hasn’t regained consciousness yet! Who knows what MWG has waiting for him!"
GHEORGHE: "ALISTER HAYZE IS FIGHTING THE MARXISM!"
JIVE: "WHAT?!"
GHEORGHE: "Hayze is trying to break out of the Marxism ………. BUT MARX DOING A GREAT JOB OF MAINTAINING THE BALANCE…."
JIVE: "Just give up, Hayze … don’t make this more work than it has to be!"
GHEORGHE: "On the outside, Jason Payne is finally starting to open his eyes…. AND MWG HOLDS DOWN HIS ARMS ……Payne shaking out the cobwebs ….. AND NOW HE SEES MWG ON TOP OF HIM AND HE’s STRUGGLING TO GET OUT OF THERE!"
JIVE: "HAYZE IS FINALLY FADING AWAY!"
GHEORGHE: " Alister Hayze is starting to slow down ……… AND HE JUST GAVE IN!! ALISTER HAYZE JUST SUBMITTED TO THE MARXISM!"
(SFX: Bell rings.)
JACOBS: "The winners of the match via submission…… ‘Gentleman’ JONATHAN MARX ….. and EM DUBBYA GEE!!"
GHEORGHE: " Jason Payne doing his damndest to try to shake MWG off of him … and Marx has released the Marxism and rolls out of the ring … AND HE’s TELLING BRANDON JACOBS THAT ITS TIME TO GET OUT OF HERE!"
JIVE: "What? No celebration with MWG?"
GHEORGHE: "Marx and Jacobs are jogging up the rampway …. AND MWG IS LICKING HIS LIPS!!! MWG IS MAKING KISSY FACES AT JASON PAYNE!!"
JIVE: "Did you actually say kissy-faces?"
GHEORGHE: " MWG IS LEANING IN ….. MWG IS FACE TO FACE WITH JASON PAYNE …. AND HE GOES IN FOR THE KISS………"
(LIGHTS GO OUT!)
JIVE: "WHAT THE HELL! The kiss between MWG and Jason Payne was so electrifying that it blew out the lights!"
GHEORGHE: "I don’t think that’s the case, Nick!"
JIVE: "What….."
(The lights come back on … lying on the outside of the ring is MWG … Jason Payne still is lying there looking horrified, but at least this time he’s not almost being kissed by MWG…. Standing on the apron above them is the masked man, a bat in his hand.)
GHEORGHE: "THE MASKED MAN IS HERE!!! HE IS HERE!!"
JIVE: "He’s going to reveal himself! The masked man is going to get his spot in the main event at International Intrigue!!!!"
(CUEUP: ‘Violet’ by Hole … Juliet Marceau appears from behind the curtains and begins to walk down the rampway. The Masked Man takes the microphone from Carl Jacobs.)
MASKEDMAN: "Hold it right there, Marceau!"
(Juliet Marceau stops … after deliberating for a few moments she nods at the masked man…)
MASKEDMAN: "I really do appreciate the warm welcoming committee you’ve had waiting for me… it’s a shame I’ve had to disappoint them.."
(SFX: Fans pop huge!)
MASKEDMAN: "But afterall, how can I reveal myself if you have half of Canada’s police force in the building hunting me down?"
(Marceau throws her hands up in a shrug as the fans pop again.)
GHEORGHE: "The Masked Man was on to her ploy all along!"
JIVE: "It would seem that way … but why is Marceau not in the ring right now ripping this masked man a new asshole?!"
GHEORGHE: "Maybe she’s going to let him reveal himself!"
MASKEDMAN: "But honestly, Juliet .. if you don’t put me in the main event … who else are you going to? One of your new guys? Someone who will have wrestled earlier? No. You’ve only got ONE choice for Doe’s spot … and that is me … and you KNOW deep down inside that I am the only person who DESERVES to be in the main event with Marx, Rabesque and Hayze…"
(Marceau smiles…)
JIVE: "WAIT A MINUTE!"
GHEORGHE: "KARLA STARR HAS JUST HOPPED OVER THE GUARDRAIL…."
(The New ERA Women’s Champion slowly slides into the ring as the crowd begins to jeer heavily…)
JIVE: "TURN AROUND!!"
MASKEDMAN: "And believe me, Juliet … I will be in the main event of International Intrigue in Montreal…. (crowd pops .. and jeers for Starr) But … you demand that I unmask myself in front of everyone here…. Well…"
GHEORGHE: "KARLA STARR IS CHARGING AT THE MASKED MAN!!!"
(Starr makes the move on the masked man running across the ring ready to tackle him!!!)
GHEORGHE: "WAIT A MINUTE!"
(SFX: FANS EXPLODE!!!)
GHEORGHE: "THE MASKED MAN JUST HIP TOSSED KARLA STARR OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE ARENA FLOOR!!! HE KNEW SHE WAS THERE!!!
(The Masked Man takes his hands to the back of his mask and loosens the strings!)
JIVE: "WE’RE GOING TO FIND OUT WHO HE IS!!"
(The Masked Man finally gets all the strings loosened and spreads it apart revealing hair …. He pulls his hands forward…)
GHEORGHE: "WHO IS THIS MASKED MAN!"
(And as he does he takes his hands off the mask and brings the over his head in front of him… giving Juliet Marceau two signs of disobedience!)
GHEORGHE: "THE MASKED MAN LEFT ON HIS MASK ……. AND HE IS GIVING MARCEAU TWO MIDDLE FINGERS!!! MARCEAU IS IRATE AND HERE COME THE MOUNTIES!!!"
(A wide array of Canadian Mounted Police come running down the rampway … as soon as they get to the ramp, the Masked Man pulls out a little round object and throws it at the mat…)
JIVE: "SMOKE BOMB!"
(The ring becomes engulfed in grey smoke..)
GHEORGHE: "THE MASKED MAN THREW A SMOKE BOMB … and the police are in the ring … but I can’t see a thing!!!"
JIVE: "I can’t believe it … the masked man basically with a huge ‘fuck you’ to Juliet Marceau keeping his mask on tonight … AND HE STILL PLANS ON BEING IN THE MAIN EVENT AT INTERNATIONAL INTRIGUE!"
GHEORGHE: "WAIT A MINUTE … the ring is clearing….."
(The ring begins to clear as the smoke rises … as it does we see ten police officers in the ring … we see MWG lying on the outside, and Jason Payne and Alister Hayze standing against the guardrail … but no masked man!)
JIVE: "HE DISAPPEARED!! THE MASKED MAN HAS DISAPPEARED …. AND JULIET MARCEAU IS ABOUT TO SHIT A BRICK!!!"
GHEORGHE: "Ladies and gentlemen … we’ve GOT TO GO! Thank you all for joining us here in Toronto … and the next time we see you will be from the MOLSON CENTRE in MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA for New ERA’s third pay per view … INTERNATIONAL INTRIGUE!!!!"
