(FADEIN: Announce table.)

GHEORGHE: "And this is it, ladies and gentlemen … the main event. The World Heavyweight Championship match between Larry Tact and El Arco Iris."

JIVE: "A lot of strong words were said, and I guess, in some strange way, Larry Tact tried to amend his words earlier tonight when he gave Iris a gift…"

GHEORGHE: "That wasn’t really a gift, if you ask me, but the World Heavyweight Champion has seemed to be changing a little over the past few weeks.."

JIVE: "Don’t get my hopes up."

GHEORGHE: "El Arco Iris is a hell of a competitor … and as the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship, he has a great shot at taking the title home tonight."

JIVE: "Iris and Tact were partners all through the Battle Bowl Mania tournament, and again last week, but Juliet Marceau wasn’t going to let Tact get away that easy after he and Iris won, so she made Iris the number one contender."

GHEORGHE: "Both these men are going to give it their all tonight … and I wouldn’t be surprised if Iris comes out on top. He’s got the heart, the dedication, and the love of the sport to take the title from Tact."

(The fans pop as Marcus LaRoque steps between the curtains…)

GHEORGHE: "Wait a minute … that’s the President of New ERA .. what is he doing out on stage?"

JIVE: "I don’t know .. but he looks pretty annoyed."

LaROQUE: "What we have just seen is a blatant disrespect for the referees in New ERA of Wrestling. The actions of Suicide and Chaos will NOT be condoned in New ERA."

JIVE: "Someone’s laying down the law!"

LaROQUE: "And as I was sitting out back watching this … Nick Jive gave me a great idea."

JIVE: "I try to help in any way I can, you know."

LaROQUE: "He said that he didn’t think that the ring would survive Suicide and Chaos, and their hatred for one another.. And that gave me a brilliant idea…"

GHEORGHE: "What is LaRoque talking about??"

LaROQUE: "With Destrucity coming up quickly … I am coming out here to announce that we have our first match SIGNED, SEALED and it will be DELIVERED in the United Centre in CHICAGO, ILLINOIS!"

(SFX: Crowd pops)

LaROQUE: "Since Chaos and Suicide seem to have a hard time keeping things in the ring … there’s only ONE way that we can keep them there ……. AND THAT IS A CAGE MATCH."

(SFX: Crowd pops huge.)

JIVE: "OH MY GOD!"

GHEORGHE: "SUICIDE versus CHAOS IN A CAGE AT DESTRUCITY!"

LaROQUE: "But back to Jive’s comment about the ring …. At Destrucity … the ring WON’T SURVIVE.."

JIVE: "What?!"

LaROQUE: "Because not only will this be a cage match ….. BUT IT WILL BE AN ELECTRIFIED EXPLODING CAGE MATCH!"

CROWD: "HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!"

GHEORGHE: "I think I echo the crowd when I saw, holy shit."

LaROQUE: "Chaos and Suicide will be locked in a cage, with a roof … the sides will be electrified …. And every FIFTEEN minutes that they are in the cage … an explosive, large enough to knock out a brick wall, will explode under a corner of the ring … Chaos and Suicide won’t know WHICH corner ….. but there won’t be ANY escape!"

JIVE: "I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!"

LaROQUE: "That will teach them to break MY rules again."

(LaRoque turns and exits as the fans are buzzing about the announcement.)

GHEORGHE: "AN ELECTRIFIED EXPLODING CAGE MATCH … I CANT BELIEVE IT! What an announcement before the main event ……. New ERA is definitely a place where many superstar’s dreams won’t survive!"

(CUTTO: The big screens as the lineup for the main event flashes across. CUTTO: Carl Jacobs in the ring.)

JACOBS: "The following match is tonight’s main event and is for the NEW ERA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first …."

(CUEUP: 'Tunak Tunak Tun' by Daler Mehndi. The stage lights start flashing all sorts of different colors as El Arco Iris runs from behind the curtain and bounces down to the ring, stopping to give all sorts of fans hugs.)

JIVE: "Peter File manages to get back his energy quickly!"

GHEORGHE: "Will you stop it?"

JACOBS: "Hailing from the OTHER SIDE OF THE RAINBOW ….. he stands five foot six, and weighs 190 pounds … the NUMBER ONE CONTENDER TO THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ……… EL ARCO IRIS!"

GHEORGHE: "Iris looks pumped and ready to go!"

JACOBS: "And his challenger …. Hailing from Manhattan, New York ….."

(CUEUP: ‘Karma’ by Diffuser as the fans rise from their seats and pop. Larry Tact comes from behind the curtain with the World Heavyweight Championship in the air. He walks down the rampway.)

JACOBS: "He stands six foot six and weighs 244 pounds ….. the current New ERA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION .... LARRY .... TACT!"

(SFX: Bell rings)

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact coming out to a LOUD crowd as the fans seemed to be extremely energetic about this match!"

JIVE: "Anytime you have the opportunity to watch Tact lose gets one pumped!"

GHEORGHE: "El Arco Iris is offering a handshake and a hug to Larry Tact … the World Heavyweight Champion gives his title to the referee … and they shake hands!!!!!"

JIVE: "I’m going to be sick again."

GHEORGHE: "BUT LARRY TACT PULLS EL ARCO IRIS TOWARDS HIM AND FLOORS HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE!"

JIVE: "Do my eyes deceive me?!?!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact picks up El Arco Iris … and he whips him into the ropes … Iris comes back … Tact with another clothesline attempt, BUT IRIS GOES AROUND AND HAS TACT IN A CRUCIFIX!!! ONE ….. TW—KICKOUT. An early pinfall attempt by the challenger as Tact is up and elbow Iris in the head!"

JIVE: "Iris was trying to catch the Champ off guard…"

GHEORGHE: "Tact picks up Iris … and takes him down with a suplex. Tact now goes to the legs of Iris…. AND HE’s LOCKING ON A FIGURE FOUR!"

JIVE: "Is this a motion towards Jean Rabesque??"

GHEORGHE: "I don’t know but the referee is asking Iris if he wants to give up and Iris is saying no …… LARRY TACT GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPES AND IS USING IT TO ADD EXTRA PRESSURE!!!"

JIVE: "What the hell??? I must be drinking too much of Water’s Poland Springs … because I can’t be seeing what I’m seeing right now."

GHEORGHE: "The referee turns around but Tact is just sitting there with his arms crossed!! The referee goes back to Iris …. AND TACT GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE AGAIN AND IRIS IS YELLING IN PAIN!"

JIVE: "Aw, now the ref is making him break the hold!"

GHEORGHE: "The ref sees the ropes shaking and he is telling Tact to break the hold, but Tact is saying that the ref didn’t see anything!! TACT IS TELLING THE REF THAT HE WON’T BREAK THE HOLD BECAUSE HE DIDN’T SEE ANYTHING!"

JIVE: "I’m … I’m … lost for words."

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact finally releases the figure four after being warned a final time by the referee …. And El Arco Iris is trying to claw his way to the outside …. BUT LARRY TACT GRABS THE LEG OF IRIS …. AND HE BASHES THE KNEE OF IRIS INTO THE MAT!"

JIVE: "He’s trying to ground Iris!"

GHEORGHE: "Tact brings Iris to his feet …. AND IRIS TRYING TO MOUNT A COMEBACK … Iris with some roundhouse rights ….. IRIS WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK THAT KNOCKS TACT TO THE ROPES!!"

JIVE: "But Iris seemed to have hurt his leg on that!"

GHEORGHE: "Iris holds his leg … he runs at Tact …… AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A HEADSCISSOR’s TAKEDOWN! El Arco Iris now HAS TACT IN A FRONT FACE LOCK SUBMISSION HOLD!"

JIVE: "Iris may be happy go lucky all the time, but he knows when to put on the wrestling holds …"

GHEORGHE: "Tact not giving up … and finally he gets his hand to the ropes! Iris releases the hold …. Tact shaking his head … and he does NOT look pleased, Nick."

JIVE: "Tact hasn’t looked pleased in a long time. Maybe he’s not getting any action outside of the ring, if you know what I mean!"

GHEORGHE: "Iris comes at Tact … and Tact with a leg sweep drops Iris to the mat … Larry Tact picking up El Arco Iris … KICKSWING DDT! Larry Tact now on his feet ….. AND HE IS TURNING IRIS OVER …. HALF CRAB!! That One legged Boston Crab ….. AND TACT IS USING HIS OTHER HAND TO GRAB ONTO THE ROPES!!!"

JIVE: "The fans here in Indianapolis are NOT liking Tact’s actions … although .. well I guess I can say this since this HAS to be a dream …. I’m LOVING IT!"

GHEORGHE: "Tact releases the ropes as the referee comes back …. Tact looks at him and shrugs his shoulder ….. the referee goes back to Iris … Tact grabs the ropes again!! BUT THE REF TURNS QUICKLY AND CATCHES HIM!! The referee counting .. ONE ….. TWO …. THREE …. FOUR ….. and TACT releases the hold!"

JIVE: "Dammit, this is my dream! The ref isn’t supposed to do that!"

GHEORGHE: "Nick .. you’re not dreaming…"

JIVE: "YES I AM!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact bringing Iris up …. Runs him into the ropes … AND ROLLS HIM UP!!! ONE ……………… TWO ……………… THR—KICKOUT BY IRIS!"

JIVE: "He almost had Iris there!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact walks over to Iris … BUT IRIS PULLS OUT TACT’s LEG!! Iris CAT-LIKE in jumping on the top rope ….. Larry Tact gets up …. AND EL ARCO IRIS FLIES OFF THE TOP ROPE AND NAILS A PICTURE PERFECT MOONSAULT ONTO THE WORLD CHAMPION!!! The cover ….. ONE ……….. TWO ………. KICKOUT!"

JIVE: "Iris just flew out of NOWHERE!"

GHEORGHE: "Iris brings Tact to his feet … and he puts him in the corner!!! Iris with some back edge chops …"

CROWD: "Woooooooooooo! Wooooooooooo! Wooooooooooooo!"

GHEORGHE: "And now Iris laying in some boots to the midsection .. AND FOLLOWS IT UP WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK TO THE HEAD! El Arco Iris with an irish whip to the opposite corner ….. no, Tact with a reversal ….. AND EL ARCO IRIS COLLIDES WITH THE REFEREE ON HIS WAY TO THE CORNER … THE REFEREE IS KNOCKED OUT!"

JIVE: "I guess that fulfills our weekly referee bump requirement."

GHEORGHE: "Iris in the other corner … AND HERE COMES TACT!!! TACT WITH A SPLASH … BUT IRIS MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AND TACT HITS THE TURNBUCKLE!! El Arco Iris against the ropes ….. FLYING FOREARM SMASH!!! NO!! Tact ducks and Iris goes FLYING into the ROPES!!!"

JIVE: "These latinos and their flying through the air!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact now back up … he locks Iris …. He puts Iris on top of his shoulder …… TACT OUT OF THE CORNER AND POWERSLAMS IRIS TO THE MAT!!! Tact looks over at the ref, but the referee is still out! Now Larry Tact is picking up Iris … and he lays him flat on the mat … Tact trying to lock on the scissored leg lock … BUT IRIS IS FIGHTING IT! Tact goes to grab Iris … BUT IRIS WITH A SMALL PACKAGE!!"

JIVE: "There’s no referee though!"

GHEORGHE: "Iris releases the pin attempt. Tact is up and he is ANGRY! Tact turns around … AND IRIS WITH A DROP TOE HOLD! El Arco Iris is up … he goes off the ropes … Tact is up and turns around …. THERE IT IS !!! THE FLYING FOREARM SMASH!!! El Arco Iris gets up and THE FANS ARE ON THEIR FEET!!"

JIVE: "We’re going to have a new World Heavyweight Champion!"

GHEORGHE: "El Arco Iris is shimmying and shaking …. He’s calling for the HAPPY DANCE!"

JIVE: "Larry Tact is down and out!"

GHEORGHE: "WAIT A MINUTE …. SOMEONE IS RUNNING DOWN THE RAMPWAY!"

JIVE: "Who is it?!"

GHEORGHE: "A PERSON DRESSED IN ALL BLACK SLIDES UNDERNEATH THE BOTTOM ROPE!!! El Arco Iris turns around ….. AND GETS NAILED WITH A SUPERKICK!!!! IRIS IS DOWN! IRIS IS DOWN!"

JIVE: "Hahahahaha!"

GHEORGHE: "This person in black slides out of the ring and is running back up the rampway! The fans here are LIVID!"

(SFX: Crowd heat)

JIVE: "Tact is coming to!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact is looking up and around .. and HE SEES EL ARCO IRIS LAYED OUT!"

JIVE: "Larry Tact looks confused!"

GHEORGHE: "Larry Tact shakes his head and notices that the referee is coming back …"

JIVE: "Whoever that was screwed El Arco Iris and SAVED Larry Tact’s title!"

GHEORGHE: "LARRY TACT PUTS ON THE BOW AND ARROW THAT HE CALLS THE TACTFUL SURRENDER!!! TACTFUL SURRENDER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! EL ARCO IRIS IS PASSED OUT!"

(SFX: Bell rings. The fans start booing immensely. Some trash litters the ringside area.)

JACOBS: "The winner of this match by SUBMISSION ….. AND STILL New ERA of Wrestling WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION …….. LARRY TACT!"

GHEORGHE: "Ladies and gentlemen, I’m as confused as you are … but we have RUN OUT OF TIME! Hopefully we’ll have more about this mysterious person in black, as well as more news about New ERA’s first pay per view DESTRUCITY, next week as we come to you LIVE from the CRISLER ARENA in Ann Arbor, Michigan from the campus of the UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN!"

(FADEOUT: To Larry Tact, looking down at the World Heavyweight Championship, which he is holding by his side.)
