[ Conseco Fieldhouse ] Indianapolis, Indiana

PRESENTS ....

TAPED: May 24, 2004
AIRED: May 27, 2004
EPISODE: RAUCOUS 09, Chapter 2

(FADEIN: The ringside area. All of a sudden the lights go out.)

JIVE: "Great .. we have more power outages than anyone I know."

GHEORGHE: "We’re sorry for this fans.. I don’t know what happened.. the lights have gone out here in the Conseco Fieldhouse!"

(All of a sudden the big screens start blasting images in a spurts … after a few bright flashes, the "Destrucity" logo takes up both big screens as the fans pop.)

JIVE: "It’s the logo for our first pay per view!"

(A voice starts to speak, as the Destrucity logo begins to get staticky.)

VOICE: "Any Creation demands that there be a Creator. The Universe is the Creation. It follows, rather precedes, that it was created by some form of a Creator. That is as far as I need to know about that as it relates to my living a life here on Earth as a human being. Knowing its face doesn’t change what it is. And my refusal to put one on it, does not endow me some enablement, nor curse, that I can or will live evilly. There are already an abundant log of faces fueling the inveterate fights in religion."

JIVE: "What … the … fuck?"

VOICE: "Yes, I can wonder what answers are held beyond my life here, and I will at times. But what I do not know for certain -- maybe will one day, maybe never will -- cannot dictate what I for certain know I can and must do with my life as a human being. My decisions about here must square with what here is. That is reality. I can wonder that there is a heaven where there is no strife, no suffering. But if I sit and do nothing here as if a puppet on strings waiting to be activated or plopped into fortune, or purposely do what is detrimental to my well-being or existence here, there is no doubt that I and the others associated to me in my life will struggle and suffer and endure pains here and now. The goal for the human being is happiness, not suffering and struggling. Even those who are suffering because of their own unique-to them environmental circumstances are striving, if only in their thoughts, for happiness."

(The fans start to clamor .. even though they’re not understanding what the hell is being said, they are excited. The fans pop huge as the outline of a powerful figure shows up on the big screens, clouded in mystery. A white light shines behind him blocking him from recognition.)

VOICE: "Reality is: What is, is. The recognition of truth. That which is real, being an actual thing; having objective existence, not imaginary. Each of us must choose what we believe about the "there and later" as I call it; Destrucity is not a rationalizing guide to be used to decide on "there and later" dumbly and blindly. Reality dictates: Existence Exists. If it is there, it is. You cannot escape reality, for in the end it will never avoid you."

GHEORGHE: "I wonder … could it be???"

JIVE: "Could what be???"

GHEORGHE: "Is this Marceau’s ULTIMATE surprise?"

JIVE: "By god … it just might be!"

VOICE: "Destiny has always been locked into a connotation, an idea of something spiritual or ethereal. Something out of our control. My faith stops at the recognition I have for the "gift of my life", my birth. I have to have a wondering faith about that because I -- none of us -- know in an absolute way that is provable. Destiny, in it's literal meaning doesn't presuppose faith as I recognize it. I have no "blind faith," when it comes to determining the outcome of my life - fulfilling my destiny. If it were meant that we were not to use our capabilities as a human, then we wouldn't have been given -- gifted, if one desires -- the "human" tools we do have. Only a few people seem to understand this penumbra. Others wallow in the fields of self-doubt and are serpents looking to spread deception. One such serpent slithers in New ERA of Wrestling. ‘The Messenger’. Trevor Cane is a harbinger of misconceptions and an obstacle for the leviathan of truth that the human race needs to express. Soon enough his head of lies will be exposed, dropping to the soiled earth where it belongs. Soon, Messenger.. soon."

(The screens shake and fade the image as the lights come back on.)

JIVE: "Oh my Lord! That figure just threatened to chop Trevor Cane’s head off!"

GHEORGHE: "I think it was a more figurative deal than that … but this quite weird.."

JIVE: "I can’t believe he’s calling out ‘the Messenger’! While Cane hasn’t been much of a factor, I can’t see why this man would want to make Cane mad!"

GHEORGHE: "Ladies and gentlemen our next match is a double debut match between two newcomers in New ERA as Nightmare and Vampiro look to try to prove their worth to management."

JIVE: "So far they haven’t shown anything if you ask me."

GHEORGHE: "Lets send this to Carl Jacobs for the ring introductions."

(CUTTO: Rampway as the lineup for the match comes on the screen.)

Nightmare vs. Vampiro

JACOBS: "The following match up is for one fall and has a 30 minute time limit! Introducing first …"

(CUEUP: ‘The Elements’ by Deadsyi. A white light shines on the ramp way as a figure walks out. You see his shadow walk into the center of it and Nightmare stands there for a second. The lights dim except for the ramp. Nightmare walks down the ramp as the lights shine on him and gets into the ring.)

JACOBS: "He stands six foot four and weighs 245 pounds …. From the DEEPEST PART OF YOUR DREAMS …. He is NIGHTMARE!"

JIVE: "At least Jacobs has gotten the hint and is moving a little faster with his introductions…"

JACOBS: "And his opponent…"

(CUEUP: 'The World is Hell' by Twizted. Red strobe lights start flashing as a thick smoke surrounds the rampway. Vampiro steps through the curtains as "lightning bolts" hit the corners of the ring.)

GHEORGHE: "Oh my!"

JACOBS: "Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada …. Standing five foot ten and weighing in at 227 pounds ……. He is VAMPIRO!"

(Vampiro makes his way to the ring and rolls in, staring at Nightmare who is taking off his trenchcoat.)

(SFX: Bell rings.)

GHEORGHE: "And Vampiro charges right away at Nightmare who hasn’t gotten his trench coat off yet!"

JIVE: "Nightmare’s arms are stuck!"

GHEORGHE: "Vampiro knocking Nightmare in the face with lefts and rights … AND HE PULLS NIGHTMARE’s TRENCHCOAT OVER HIS HEAD!! Vampiro off the ropes as Nightmare tries to get the coat down …. AND VAMPIRO WITH A SCISSOR KICK THAT DROPS NIGHTMARE TO THE MAT! Vampiro now ripping the coat off of Nightmare… and HE IS TRYING TO SMOTHER THE FACE OF NIGHTMARE WITH THE TRENCH COAT!"

JIVE: "Well, they may not have had much to say, but Vampiro sure as hell is trying to make a statement here!"

GHEORGHE: "The ref manages to sneak in and take the coat away from Vampiro who is now stomping a mudhole in Nightmare.. Vampiro against the ropes … and he nails Nightmare in the face with a baseball slide!"

JIVE: "One of the most underrated moves in all of wrestling, if you ask me."

GHEORGHE: "Vampiro finally bringing Nightmare to his feet … he grabs the arm of Nightmare …. AND HE’s GOING UP TOP! Vampiro IS WALKING THE TOP ROPE …. AND HE COMES DOWN WITH THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!"

JIVE: "Vampiro is in firm control of this match from the start .. but you have to wonder when his size will start to come into effect.. he gives up 6 inches on Nightmare and almost 20 pounds!"

GHEORGHE: "Vampiro grabbing the arms of Nightmare …. TWIST OF FATE! Vampiro driving the head of Nightmare into the mat … AND NOW HE’s GOING FOR THE LEGS!! VAMPIRO IS LOCKING ON A SHARPSHOOTER!"

JIVE: "All the best have used the sharpshooter in the best, but none have come close to utilizing its effectiveness.. Vampiro is riding too high if he wants Nightmare to tap."

GHEORGHE: "The ref is over there asking Nightmare if he wants to give up, but Nightmare is not responding.. Nightmare is slowly trying to reach for the ropes but he’s too far away … SO HE’s TRYING TO MOVE HIM AND VAMPIRO CLOSER!"

JIVE: "Hot damn, if he can break this hold, it may just slow Vampiro’s momentum mentally!"

GHEORGHE: "Nightmare using all his strength …. AND VAMPIRO ENDS UP LOSING HIS GRIP AND THE HOLD IS BROKEN!"

JIVE: "I told you, he was riding too high … as soon as Nightmare got himself elevated, Vampiro wasn’t able to keep control of his weight."

GHEORGHE: "Vampiro shaking his head in disgust after losing his grip .. he walks over to Nightmare … BUT NIGHTMARE WITH A SMALL PACKAGE!!! ONE …. TW—no! Vampiro kicked out and he’s back on his feet! BUT NIGHTMARE WITH A SINGLE LEG TAKEDOWN AND NOW HE’s ON TOP OF VAMPIRO DRILLING HIM WITH FOREARM SHOTS!"

JIVE: "Once again, I’m right. Vampiro got too down on himself and opened himself up for attack."

GHEORGHE: "Nightmare picking Vampiro up now … and he sends him into the corner! Nightmare charging in afterwards and he connects with a clothesline! Vampiro’s head snapped back in what looked to be an unpleasant way! Nightmare now sends Vampiro into the opposite corner! He charges in … AND HITS HIM WITH A KNEE TO THE STOMACH! Nightmare out and against the ropes as Vampiro stumbles out of the corner ….. SPEAR!"

JIVE: "Nightmare just knocked the bejeezus out of Vampiro!"

GHEORGHE: "Nightmare with the cover …… ONE ……. TWO ….. KICKOUT at the last second! I thought he had him there!"

JIVE: "Vampiro is showing that he can take punishment as well as dish out."

GHEORGHE: "Nightmare now picking up Vampiro .. and he’s placing him in between the ropes… Nightmare against the far ropes … AND HE CRASHES DOWN ON THE BACK OF VAMPIRO CHOKING HIM WITH THE SECOND ROPE! Nightmare is now bouncing up and down on the back of Vampiro and the referee is now telling him to get off. Nightmare now taking Vampiro by the hair … he lifts him up .. HE IS SETTING HIM UP FOR A TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!"

JIVE: "More than a fair share of people have been injured by this very move!"

GHEORGHE: "AND NIGHTMARE NAILS IT AND COVERS VAMPIRO!!! ONE ………. TWO ……… THREE!"

JIVE: "No, the ref is signaling that he kicked out before the three!"

GHEORGHE: "Nightmare gets up and he doesn’t look happy! Nightmare exchanging some words with the referee as he walks over to Vampiro .. he picks Vamp.. NO VAMPIRO WITH A SMALL PACKAGE!"

JIVE: "Just like what Nightmare did to him earlier!"

GHEORGHE: "But Nightmare easily kicks out as the tombstone has affected Vampiro’s strength! Nightmare drops an elbow on the jaw of Vampiro and picks him up without problem this time. Nightmare is now bringing Vampiro over to the corner!!! BOTH MEN ARE NOW ON THE TOP ROPE!!!"

JIVE: "This is one way to get noticed here.."

GHEORGHE: "NIGHTMARE PUTS VAMPIRO’s HEAD BETWEEN HIS LEGS ….. AND NOW HE GOES UP AND OVER VAMPIRO’s BACK!! OH MY LORD!"

CROWD: "N . E . W ! N . E . W !"

GHEORGHE: "NIGHTMARE JUST BROUGHT VAMPIRO DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB FROM THE TOP ROPE!!! Nightmare makes the cover …….. ONE …………. TWO …………… THR—NO!! Vampiro got his leg on the bottom rope!!!!"

JIVE: "I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!"

GHEORGHE: "AND NEITHER CAN NIGHTMARE! Nightmare picks Vampiro up and body slams him to the mat as he goes up top!"

JIVE: "Nightmare taking a high risk here, let’s hope for his sake it pays off!"

GHEORGHE: "Nightmare signals at Vampiro … FROG SPLAS—VAMPIRO PUT UP HIS KNEES AND NIGHTMARE GETS HIS RIBS INTRODUCED TO THEM!"

JIVE: "And it turns out that Nightmare is just plain dumb."

GHEORGHE: "Both men now are down on the mat …. Nightmare slowly getting to his feet … he walks over to Vampiro .. AND VAMPIRO BLOCKS HIM WITH AN UPPERCUT!! AND ANOTHER ONE! VAMPIRO HIP TOSSES NIGHTMARE ACROSS THE APRON!"

JIVE: "Could Vampiro have a second wind?"

GHEORGHE: "Vampiro against the ropes …. Nightmare is getting up on the other side … Vampiro with a cross body block … AND THEY GO TUMBLING OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE ARENA FLOOR!"

JIVE: "The momentum there took them all the way over the top …. And I think they might be hurt!"

(Replay shows Nightmare hitting his head on the edge of the apron while Vampiro goes crashing knee first into the guardrail.)

GHEORGHE: "NIGHTMARE HIT HIS HEAD ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE APRON AND HE’s NOT MOVING!!"

JIVE: "The ref is counting …"

GHEORGHE: "AND VAMPIRO DOESN’T SEEM TO NOTICE BECAUSE HE’s CLINGING TO THAT KNEE THAT SLAMMED INTO THE GUARDRAIL!"

JIVE: "The ref is at 5!"

REF: "SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT!"

GHEORGHE: "BOTH MEN ARE STILL DOWN!"

REF: "NINE!"

JIVE: "This one is over."

REF: "TEN!"

(SFX: Bell rings.)

JACOBS: "Neither competitor made it back into the ring before the referee’s ten count, so the result of this match is a DOUBLE COUNTOUT!"

GHEORGHE: "Nightmare is STILL not moving! We need to get some help out here! Who knows if he’s still breathing or not!"

JIVE: "Just as things were getting good, too…"

GHEORGHE: "We gotta go to commercial .. while this gets straightened out … but when we get back Peter File will take on Angel Latora in watch should be an action packed match!"
