(FADEIN: The back as Brody Hansen is walking out of President LaRoque’s lockerroom with a smile on his face and a contract in his hand. CUTTO: Ringside.)

GHEORGHE: "The Southern Beast looked pretty happy coming out of that office.."

JIVE: "I haven’t seen him smile like that in a long time."

GHEORGHE: "Ladies and Gentlemen we are down to our final match here tonight …"

JIVE: "You might as well turn off your television right now, because I’m telling you, the Renaissance Man is going to take this baby to the bank!"

GHEORGHE: "Earlier tonight John Doe managed to get into the finals of the Television Championship tournament by defeating ‘Rage o Fire’ Jared Wells.. our main event for tonight’s RAUCOUS is the match to determine the other competitor who will be in the finals!"

JIVE: "Well let’s get this match underway so we don’t gotta wait any longer, yea?"

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque coming in as a mystery partner of Suicidal Killer’s after Shawn Hart was injured by Scotty Michaels, another man who we haven’t heard from in a long time … and now Rabesque is in line to get the chance to become the first New ERA Television champion. Next edition of RAUCOUS, the ‘title-crowning’ one, will come to you LIVE from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina! Let’s take this up to Carl to get things rolling!"

(CUTTO: Ringside as Carl Jacobs ascends the steps into the ring with a microphone. The lineup flashes on the screen.)

JACOBS: "The following main event is a semi-finals match in the Television title Tournament!"

(The fans cheer. )

JACOBS: "Introducing first …."

(CUEUP: ‘Shapes of Things’ by the Jeff Healey Band.)

JACOBS: "From Montreal, Quebec, Canada … weighing in at 245 pounds ….. JEAN RABESQUE!"

(Rabesque comes down to the ring and looks very serious. He enters the ring. He shakes his head and leans back, waiting for his challenger.)

GHEORGHE: "Whether you love him or hate him... you have to admit that Jean Rabesque is one of the best wrestlers here in New ERA."

JIVE: "I don’t think so, Tom. And the Renaissance Man will prove me right!"

(CUEUP: ‘Passport’ by Klaus Doldinger.)

JACOBS: "And his opponent.. being led to the ring by his manager MARK POOL ... weighing in tonight at 244 pounds... he is from the French Riviera ….."

(The fans begin to boo as The Renaissance Man walks out onto the stage. With his eyes locked on Rabesque, he walks down to the ring and he walks slowly up the steps. When he gets into the ring, Pool drops the water and towel he was holding.)

JACOBS: "THE RENAISSANCE MAN!"

JIVE: "The infamous "pre-match" stare-down!"

(Renaissance Man smirks at Rabesque as Rabesque just stares at him.)

JIVE: "Bitch slap! Yes!"

GHEORGHE: "Jean Rabesque was just slapped across the face by the Renaissance man and he rubs his cheek …. Rabesque turning back to Renaissance Man …. RABESQUE PULLS HIS FIST BACK AND NAILS RENAISSANCE MAN IN THE FACE DROPPING HIM TO THE MAT!"

JIVE: "Holy! He sure can pack a punch!"

(SFX: Bell rings.)

GHEORGHE: "The Renaissance Man crawls over to the ropes, away from Rabesque … and he his now pulling himself to his feet... Renaissance Man just snarls as he looks across the ring at Rabesque!! RABESQUE CHARGES AT RENAISSANCE … but Renaissance side steps him!! Rabesque turns to face Renaissance Man, but the Renaissance man kicks him in the gut!!! RENAISSANCE MAN NAILING A QUICK IMPLANT DDT!!! The cover!!! ONE ….. no!"

JIVE: "Too soon..."

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque kicks out, and sends Renaissance Man flying off of him and hitting the mat behind Jean’s head.. now Renaissance Man rolls out of the ring and begins to walk up the ramp!"

JIVE: "Where the hell is he going?"

GHEORGHE: "Renaissance Man is scared of Jean Rabesque!"

JIVE: "Renaissance Man is scared of NOTHING and NOBODY!"

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque now standing and he walks towards the ropes, facing the Renaissance Man. Mark Pool looking back at Jean Rabesque and throws his hands in the air trying to get Renaissance Man to go back into the ring. But the Renaissance Man is having no part of it as he turns back around and continues his trek up the ramp! WAIT A MINUTE!! Jean RABESQUE JUST NAILED THE RENAISSANCE MAN WITH A FOREARM SMASH AND HE IS STANDING OVER RENAISSANCE MAN! Rabesque picks him up and now hooks him…. AND RABESQUE WITH A JUMPING CRADLE PILEDRIVER… the crowd is on their feet!!!"

JIVE: "What a painful maneuver by Rabesque!! He should be disqualified!"

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque now picking up Renaissance Man and dragging him back to the ring ….. Rabesque rolls him underneath and now rolls in himself … the COVER!!! ONE ……. TWO ……… NOOOO! Renaissance Man gets a shoulder up!"

JIVE: "Renaissance Man gets on his knees, about to stand, but look at that CHEATER!!! Rabesque kicks him in the chest!!"

GHEORGHE: "Youches!"

JIVE: "Youches? What the fuck is youches?!"

GHEORGHE: "A word..."

JIVE: "Pathetic, Tom… truly sad."

GHEORGHE: "Renaissance Man moans in agony as Jean Rabesque kicks him in the chest once more… Renaissance Man is now on his stomach! Jean Rabesque is walking over to the corner …. RABESQUE COMES OUT OF THE CORNER AND HITS A KNEEDROP ONTO THE BACK OF RENAISSANCE MAN!"

JIVE: "Go ahead, Jean.. kick a man while he’s down! You lowlife!"

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque now waiting for The Renaissance Man to get to his feet …. Rabesque backs away from the Renaissance Man as he uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet… Renaissance Man FINALLY UP but now Rabesque RUNNING AT RENAISSANCE MAN ….. Renaissance Man ducks! Rabesque against the ropes … coming back AND THE RENAISSANCE MAN CATCHES HIM IN A RELEASE BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX THAT SENDS RABESQUE FLYING ACROSS THE MAT!"

JIVE: "PIN HIM!!! ONE ….. TWO… aw, he kicked out."

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque sits up in shock as The Renaissance Man stands. Renaissance picking Rabesque up by the hair and whips him into the corner…. RENAISSANCE MAN RUNS IN AT FULL SPEED AND NAILS HIM WITH A TURNBUCKLE CLOTHESLINE!!! Rabesque drops to sitting position in the corner… and now RENAISSANCE MAN IS KNEEING RABESQUE IN THE FACE!! Renaissance Man not stopping this as he stands Rabesque in the corner ….. and now he begins to punch him in the face!"

CROWD: "ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR... FIVE... SIX... SEVEN... EI"

GHEORGHE: "RABESQUE WRAPPING HIS ARMS AROUND THE LEGS OF RENAISSANCE MAN AND WALKS TO THE CENTER OF THE RING ….. ATOMIC DROP!! Renaissance Man clutching his groinal area as he falls to his knees!"

JIVE: "That's got to hurt... badly..."

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque shaking his head, trying to get the cobwebs out…. And now he’s walking over to the ropes… Rabesque picks up Renaissance Man…. AND HITS A HANGING VERTICAL SUPLEX!!"

JIVE: "Renaissance Man will get back on track, don’t worry about it. He’s a lock to win the Television Championship."

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque now picking Renaissance Man back up ….Rabesque with a quick punch in the face of Renaissance Man … but RENAISSANCE MAN RETALIATES WITH ONE OF HIS OWN!! Rabesque with ANOTHER! AND ONCE MORE ITS RETURNED!!! RENAISSANCE MAN WITH ANOTHER!! A FOURTH!! No!! Jean Rabesque blocks it …. RENAISSANCE MAN ATTEMPTS ANOTHER BUT ITS BLOCKED! Jean Rabesque with a kick to the stomach ….. TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!!! Business is picking up!"

JIVE: "Die."

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque with the cover …… ONE ……. TWO …… THREE!"

JIVE: "NO! Renaissance Man got the shoulder up!"

GHEORGHE: "The crowd was going crazy as they thought that Rabesque had pinned Renaissance Man …. Rabesque now rolls off his Renaissance Man and is sitting on the mat…. RABESQUE WITH ANOTHER PIN ATTEMPT! ONE ……. TWO …… KICKOUT!"

JIVE: "Kick out!"

GHEORGHE: "That’s what I just said! Rabesque with ANOTHER pin attempt!!! ONE … TWO … NOOOO!"

JIVE: "Rabesque needs to let Renaissance Man get some air!!!"

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque now up and he staggers backwards …. Renaissance Man now back up … Rabesque going towards Renaissance …. BUT RENAISSANCE MAN WITH A KICK TO THE GUT! RENAISSANCE MAN FOLLOWS IN WITH A CLOTHESLINE SENDING RABESQUE TO THE MAT!"

JIVE: "And Rabesque is down!"

GHEORGHE: "Jean Rabesque is back on his feet as The Renaissance Man runs at him again … AND ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE BY THE RENAISSANCE MAN! Rabesque slow to his feet ……. RENAISSANCE MAN RUNS AT HIM!! RABESQUE DUCKS UNDER THE ATTEMPTED CLOTHESLINE!!! Renaissance Man turns around ….. RABESQUE GRABS THE LEG OF THE RENAISSANCE MAN AND BRINGS HIM TO THE MAT!!! He is trying to lock on the Figure Four!!"

JIVE: "Renaissance Man should have finished it while he had the chance!!!"

GHEORGHE: "But Rabesque can’t get the legs wrapped .. so he releases the hold … Rabesque now dragging Renaissance Man to the center of the ring …. He picks him up ….. GERMAN SUPLEX WITH A BRIDGE!!!! ONE ……. TWO ……. THREE!!!!"

JIVE: "RENAISSANCE MAN BARELY GOT HIS FOOT ON THE ROPE! HE KICKED OUT!"

GHEORGHE: "Rabesque now with a NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!!! ONE ….. TWO ……!"

JIVE: "AND RENAISSANCE MAN AGAIN WITH THE FOOT ON THE ROPE!"

(Rabesque releases the hold and lies in the middle of the mat as Renaissance Man is breathing heavily himself.)

GHEORGHE: "Both of these men putting on a fantastic match here tonight on RAUCOUS!"

(After about ten seconds, neither man is moving. )

JIVE: "What happens if neither man gets up?"

GHEORGHE: "There WILL be a winner here tonight."

JIVE: "Ok, just making sure."

GHEORGHE: "Wait …. RENAISSANCE MAN IS UP!! Jean Rabesque is Up!!! Rabesque walks over … BUT RENAISSANCE MAN WITH A JAB TO THE THROAT DOUBLES OVER JEAN RABESQUE!!! HE IS CALLING FOR IT!!!"

JIVE: "EXPLODER SUPLEX! This is over!"

GHEORGHE: "ONE …….. TWO ……. NOOOOO!!! Jean Rabesque kicks out!! The Renaissance Man is calling for the Epilogue!!!!"

JIVE: "YES! Finally a REAL competitor in the finals!"

GHEORGHE: "Renaissance Man setting up the legs of Jean Rabesque ….. BUT RABESQUE IS FIGHTING IT!!"

JIVE: "No!! Ref stop him!"

GHEORGHE: "JEAN RABESQUE HAS BROUGHT THE RENAISSANCE MAN DOWN TO THE MAT ….. AND NOW JEAN RABESQUE IS LOCKING ON THE FIGURE FOUR!!!!"

JIVE: "NO!! POOL GET IN THERE!! TOSS A FIREBALL AT RABESQUE OR SOMETHING!"

GHEORGHE: "JEAN RABESQUE HAS IT ALL LOCKED UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!!"

JIVE: "How many minutes are left?"

GHEORGHE: "There are at least 8 minutes left, Nick …. BUT WE WON’T NEED THEM AS THE RENAISSANCE MAN JUST TAPPED OUT!!!"

JIVE: "Noooooooooo!"

(SFX: Bell rings)

JACOBS: "The winner of this match ……. And moving on to the finals of the Television Championship Tournament ………………. JEAN RABESQUE!"

JIVE: "I can’t bear it …"

GHEORGHE: "What an INCREDIBLE match up ladies and gentlemen…. It is now set … Jean Rabesque will take on John Doe in the finals of the Television Championship Tournament ….. not only that, but Peter File . Jonathan Marx . Larry Tact . and El Arco Iris will all be in the ring at the same time for the Fatal Fourway Battle Royal to crown the very first New ERA of Wrestling WORLD Heavyweight Champion!!! Join us next …"

JIVE: "LOOK ITS LARRY TACT!"

(CUTTO: The top of the rampway as Larry Tact is standing there watching Jean Rabesque roll out of the ring. Rabesque looks up and sees him.)

GHEORGHE: "LARRY TACT IS OUT HERE AND RABESQUE SEES HIM! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE ARE OUT OF TIME!!! JOIN US NEXT WEEK FROM GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA!!"

(FADEOUT: As we see Jean Rabesque pause at the bottom of the ramp. Larry Tact looks at him, before he turns around and walks through the curtain out of sight. Fade to black.)
